Hi friends and family,
Clarity is taking on the Live Like Her Challenge 2022 to help more homeless women over 55 into a home. This is a growing problem across Australia and sadly, little is being done to address it. In Brisbane, each night, there are around 700 women, over the age of 55 who are homeless. Many of them sleep in their car, couch surf or in other precarious locations. Their dignity and the contributions they have made to our society, trashed.
For one night, I will be sleeping in a car, to raise awareness and funds for The Forgotten Women project, an initiative which is close to our hearts.

The Forgotten Women
The Forgotten Women is Mangrove Community Homes' flagship project, a unique, grassroots housing initiative dedicated to women over 55 experiencing homelessness - the fastest growing cohort in Australia today. The Forgotten Women's mission is simple: to put a safe roof over the heads of as many vulnerable older women as possible. Through the acquisition of suitable properties, the project provides secure, safe, affordable housing that enables older women to age in place with security, stability and dignity.
